Inaugural Post

You know what the best thing about the gardening process is? The evolution of a small seed transforming into a plant, vegetable, or fruit is unexplainable. Yes, we've advanced in such a way that we can manipulate the soil, add fertilizers in order to make a more efficient product, but there's still no explanation of how the things come to be. Gardening is the only process left that God is in complete control of. It's the only process that we as people have to solely have faith that when we plant this seed into soil, water it and give it sunlight, it will turn into something completely different.

By no means am I a gardener or producer of food, but I am a writer. And like a gardener, my produce is something that's carefully drafted and manipulated to provide the consumer a product that's of great quality. I plan to check my work and throw out the weeds that may grow. I promise to keep the animals away from my produce so that you receive the full amount I planted for you. Each plant will be sought out and looked after so you will receive the full enjoyment of its purpose.

Gardeners plant the things they enjoy to grow and plan to use. Each garden is different based upon the interest and taste of its owner. In this garden, expect to see plants of sports, music, poetry, God, and family. Different seasons bring on different plants. If you came for peas and got corn, don't fret. You see unlike a real garden, my plants are seasonless and there's no telling what you may find here.

Most importantly, gardeners plant with love. The care they take for their produce is carefully attended to and thoughtfully planned. Expect that same quality here. I write from a place of love. Hopefully you can feel that whenever you visit and pick your way through "The Garden."
