Ironman 2018

Ironman 2018 has concluded here in Longview, Texas, and for some of LHS's elite athletes PR's have been set and broken. This time of the year is where most high school athletes feel one or two emotions: Extreme confidence or sad reality.

For the ones who excelled, it's because they had a plan, they had focus. Their efforts were displayed on the field, in the weight room and even when they were away from school. Guys have been putting the work in all winter long and their displaying themselves this spring. Not everyone makes the Top 11, but it's about growth. It's about believing in the system that's been put into place, committing yourself to a process and performing when those moments matter most.
