The NFL Draft is approaching and a bunch of people who don't get paid by teams are guessing where they think people will end..... Well here I go.
1. Browns - Sam Darnold USC. DeShone Kizer is not the answer. The belief is that Darnold is. As enticing as Saquon Barkley seems to be, I don't believe you turn your back on a potential 10 year starter at QB.
2. Giants - SaQuon Barkley Penn State. It's crazy I know. But the Giants historically play great defense. OBJ returns to form this season, and with the addition of Barkley and a solid running game, Eli Manning looks like a legitimate QB again.
3. Jets - Josh Rosen UCLA. Teddy Bridgewater is going to get a shot, but I don't see New York passing on a chance to pick up a qb. The team is liable to suck whether Bridgewater starts or not, you might as well pick up Rosen, redshirt him, get another top 5 pick next year, and try to win from then on.
4. Browns - Tremaine Edmunds Virginia Tech. With Saquon gone, the Browns go and get the best player on the board, IMO it's Edmunds. 6'5 253, 4.5 speed, line this dude opposite of Garrett and look tf out on that defense.
5. Broncos - Josh Allen Wyoming. For one second you think John Elway, scramble and throw it 100 yards John Elway, thinks that Case Keenum is his guy. No way. Elway's gonna take the guy who resembles himself in big arm Allen. Keenum might start the first game, but Josh Allen will get a look if it goes South.
6. Colts - Quenton Nelson Notre Dame. This is not a slug, Nelson plays like an All-American high school lineman would, but at the college level. He flies around the field. He picks people off in pass coverage, and he's a mauler in the run game. Couple that with the fact that Andrew Luck hasn't had the best luck of staying healthy and it makes sense they spend this pick on a Zach Martin type guard.
7. Buccaneers - Denzel Ward Ohio State. Top corners go in the top 10 regardless of how good they really are, see Mo Caliborne. Ward is an athletic dude from THE Ohio State, and is going to be too hard for the corner needing Bucs to pass up on.
8. Bears - Minkah Fitzpatrick Alabama. Once one corner goes, any other first round talent is now put on notice.
9. 49ers - Derwin James Florida State. Better believe John Lynch is gonna draft a bigger, faster version of him.
10. Raiders - Roquan Smith Georgira. This draft's best linebacker looks to shore up a defense that was pretty bad even with Khalil Mack last year.
11. Dolphins - Bradley Chubb North Carolina State. The Ryan Tannehill project is not over in Miami just yet. The best pass rusher in the draft is a steal at number 11.
12. Bills - Baker Mayfield Oklahoma. Bills have already traded away Tyrod Taylor and it's time to get a franchise quarterback. The Bills take the TD machine Mayfield.
13. Redskins - Vita Vea Washington. The 3-4 Scheme is in need of a dominant nose and the 345 pound Vea is a problem.
14. Packers - Courtland Sutton SMU. The 6'3 target from SMU is a perfect replacement for Jordy Nelson. A receiver's dream to play with the best qb in the game.
15. Cardinals - Lamar Jackson Louisville. It's a risk, but Jackson is a fit for a team who needs a quarterback. He'll rely on his athleticism early on, but Jackson's arm strength and speed is too much for the Cardinals to pass on.
16. Ravens - Christian Kirk Texas A&M. Name a Baltimore receiver. Don't worry, I'll wait. Kirk's too fast, too explosive; he'll remind you of a guy who wears 13.
17. Chargers - Da'Ron Payne Alabama. A dominant defensive lineman from Alabama to pair with Joey Bosa.
18. Seahawks - Marcus Davenport UTSA. A freak athletically, the UTSA defensive end will have an opportunity to replace Michael Bennett, whom the team departed from.
19. Cowboys - Connor Williams Texas. Dallas is in need of a right tackle and Connor Williams is fresh off of an All American and All Conference performance. He's a guy that can play guard as well, giving Dallas flexibility with La'el Collins.
20. Lions - Derrius Guice LSU. And the leading rusher for the Lions for the past 3 seasons have been..... idk either. Guide brings a balance to Matt Stafford’s game that he hasn’t seen since his days in Athens. Guice, to some Bayou Bengal fans, was considered to be just as good as Leonard Fournette.
21. Bengals - Rashaan Evans Alabama. With needs at linebacker the Bengals take the rangy Evans. Another Alabama pick in the first round, Evans adds athleticism and hit ability at the second level.
22. Bills - Deion Cain Clemson. Mayfield will need weapons other than McCoy and Benjamin and Cain has explosive talent and will help out immediately.
23. Patriots - Mason Rudolph Oklahoma State. After getting rid of 2 Brady replacements in back to back seasons, Rudolph could be the heir apparent. Even if Brady plays another 2 years, you get the QB who’s most likely to become him in this class learning and soaking it all in.
24. Panthers - DJ Chark LSU. A 6’3 speedster from the SEC. At his best he looks like AJ Green 2.0, at his worst he’s a faster Terrence Williams. Cam needs weapons and the Panthers hope to strike big with a home run threat.
25. Titans - Ronald Jones USC. Tennessee won a playoff game based off the strength of their defense. If they ever want to win two they need to add offensive weapons. Jones is a great different dynamic Han Deeeick Henry and a speedster out of the backfield.
26. Falcons - James Washington Oklahoma State. He’s a former Bilikentoff award winner and will add another dynamic to a potentially explosive offense. Matty Ice gets him and look out.
27. Saints - Mike Gesicki Penn State. Saints want Lamar Jackson but he ain’t there. Instead they get Jimmy Graham 2.0 in a different type of tight ends and Brees will love to have another fade up option.
28. Steelers - Ronnie Harrison Alabama. In need of a safety, the Steelers take the imposing presences of Harrison to help centerfield a secondary. At 6'3 215, Harrison has intimidating size and hitting ability to make receivers drop the ball.
29. Jaguars - Isiah Wynn Georgia. When you draft tailbacks as high as the Jaguars drafted Fournette last year, you better have guys in front that can help make holes for him. Wynn's the best interior offensive lineman in this class and will help improve a Jaguar running game that almost carried them to a Super Bowl.
30. Vikings - Josh Jackson Iowa. The Vikings could go pass rusher at this spot, but I think they take the best corner available in Josh Jackson. Jackson will be on the other side of Xavier Rhodes who has played well over the past 2 seasons. Those two will be a great starting duo for time to come.
31. Patriots - Leighton Vander Esch BYU. At 6'4 250, Vander Esch is the tall, prototypical linebacker. Has the size to play on the defensive line, but the athleticism to drop back into coverage.
32. Eagles - Mark Andrews Oklahoma. The Eagles lost Trey Burton to free agency and I think they replace him right away with a taller, more experienced pass catcher at the 2 or 3rd tight end role. Andrew would split out wide, play slot, and put his hands down in the dirt, usually to run block. The Eagles will replacing Burton with a better football player and will look even better offense this year.
Guice's career will be better than Barkley and Fournette's. He's special. |

26. Falcons - James Washington Oklahoma State. He’s a former Bilikentoff award winner and will add another dynamic to a potentially explosive offense. Matty Ice gets him and look out.
In the right system, Washington will be one of the league's best. |
27. Saints - Mike Gesicki Penn State. Saints want Lamar Jackson but he ain’t there. Instead they get Jimmy Graham 2.0 in a different type of tight ends and Brees will love to have another fade up option.

Wynn's the best interior offensive lineman in this class and will help improve a Jaguar running game that almost carried them to a Super Bowl.
A guard with All-Pro potential, Wynn will block for Fournette for years. |

The best TE in this class, Andrews will be fun to watch. |
