SR Tracey Revels - Liberty Eylau
SR Geremiah Smith - West Rusk
Size: 6'1 175
Stats: First Team All District in 2021, #98 on the 2021 list.
Zachaun Williams has game. He uses his length to his advantage and has pretty good anticipation skills, as he dives in to break up passes. He's got a lot of talent, and I expect an even bigger JR season this year for the young Lion.
Size: 6'2 180

Montana Warren is a baller. He's transferring back to Henderson to finish his high school career, after an impressive junior season. Warren is physical, but also possess the finesse necessary to be a great defensive back. He made a slew of plays in 2021, and it'll be interesting to see what impact he brings to Henderson, who needed some defensive help.
Size: 5'11 185
Stats: First Team All District in 2021, #72 on the 2021 list.
Size: 6'3 190
Stats: First Team All District in 2021, #66 on the 2021 list.
Gilbert figured out the physical aspect of playing safety later in the year, and in the playoffs came down hill a couple of times and knocked things backwards. I think that taste is what we'll get from Gilbert all year. He started the year out playing corner, and he's lockdown at that with his over-towering height and great hands. He ended the year at safety, and it'll be interesting to watch how he plays. He's a potential top 10 guy.
Size: 6'1 180
Stats: First Team All District in 2021, #56 on the 2021 list.
The Top 6 on this list have the potential to be the number 1 Defensive Back in East Texas. Weaver is as impact as they come. He's a 2 way player, starring at WR as well, but his future home is as a DB. He anticipates, breaks on passes, and tackles like way too well to not be a star on Saturdays on defense. Weaver made a slew of plays in 2021, and will be asked to do the same in order to bring Nacogdoches to prominence in 2022.
Size: 6' 180
Stats: First Team All District in 2021, #14 on the 2021 List.
Not only is Wade an incredible receiver, but he's just as dangerous as a safety. Wade's balls skills remind you of Ed Reed back there in the secondary. It doesn't matter if he's in Man Coverage in the slot, or covering the deep half, if Wade's on the field you better account for him. He made some of the most impressive interceptions last season, and if teams try him in 2022, he'll do it again.
Size: 6' 180
Stats: First Team All District in 2021, #5 on the 2021 List
Apart of an incredible duo, Rohan Fluellen is as instinctive and problematic as they come over on the defensive side of the ball. Fluellen just has a knack of being around the football, and he has the ability and ball skills to change the face of a game. He's been impact in all 3 facets of the game, and this year I expect a 7 or more picks from him.
Size: 5'10 160
Stats: First Team All District in 2021, #23 on the 2021 List.
If Wade is Ed Reed, than Tyson Wilson is Earl Thomas III. Wilson flies around the field making incredible interceptions off deflections, forcing fumbles, pbu's and just flat out comes up big. Wilson is a leader, a communicator on the field, and don't let the size fool you, he will knock your head off, literally.

Hampton dominated competition last year on both offense and defense, which should surprise absolutely no one. He's a big time athlete with big time offers. He's a 2022 DB: Great Hands, Physical and Confident. The next test for him is to win. All the stats are great, but in order to cement the legacy, it's time for his dominance to carry the Tigers to a State Title.
Size: 5'9 175
Stats: Defensive Newcomer of the Year, #13 on the 2021 List.
The tape says it all for Willie Nelson. There's a reason the biggest schools in the nation are starting to knock on the door for this non prototype corner. Willie's got game, and as a sophomore proved to have more game than everybody else in East Texas. I have no reason to believe he won't put on this year as well, but can he do it with the attention and expectations now?
