Statistically, Chase Johnson had the best year a QB has had in his first year starting at QB. The sophomore came out and lit the world up producing 3,456 yards through the air, 717 rushing yards and 47 touchdowns on 57% completion. He had various targets to throw it around to, and with his cannon he spread the ball all over the yard. 

4. Alex Allen

College: Texas A&M Commerce

In 2010, Allen was the number 2 receiver and balled out under Tyler Boyd's wing. As a senior he kicked over to quarterback and took Daingerfield all the way to the 4th round after 3 rings in a row. He threw for 3,053 yards, second all time in a season for 36 touchdowns, 4th all time for a season.

In those 2 years he ran for 1,843 yards and 29 touchdowns. As a senior, Boyd went air raid, throwing for 2,846 yards and 45 touchdowns. The Goat is the greatest winner and lands at the top spot.
