Mark Johnson is one of the best runners in ETX History that the numbers don't support. At 5'7 165 pounds, Johnson backed up Chris Ivory for Longview in 2005 as a sophomore and was an integral part of what Longview did, playing in key clutch moments that year. As a junior and senior Johnson was the starter at fullback and in those 2 years he rushed for 15 touchdowns. At 6'1 225, Bolden had a special senior year, rushing 240 times for 1,473 yards and 26 touchdowns in a 3-8 season this past season for the Mustangs. A part time fullback with a full time punch. Jessie Anderson was a tailback that placed his hand in the ground for the scheme like Chris Ivory. He was a monster on the dive option, and very good in single back formations. When he made up his mind to destroy you, he was an animal on iso blocks and huge kick out blocks on the power. He was a total package with soft hands as well. Only reason he's not number 1, is because he was only a fullback his sophomore and partially his senior year.

KeKe was a one year starter and 3 year contributor at Longview. In his 1 season to start, Haynes became the first fullback to rush over a 1,000 yards at Longview in school history. Benefitting from a more complex scheme than Ivory, Haynes got many opportunities as the lone back in the offense. Haynes toted it 135 times for 1,198 yards and 13 touchdowns, as well as contributing catching the ball as well. He's the most balanced player on this list, evenly gifted with speed, balance, rushing ability, catching ability and blocking. He could score from 50, and iso your linebacker into obliteration. Like that.

Chris Ivory was a 2 year starter for Longview at fullback. As a senior in 11 games, Ivory rushed for 659 yards, 16 touchdowns while also catching the ball 16 times for 209 yards and 2 scores. One of the biggest recruits on this list, Major Tennison at 6'5 220 was well sought after. While only catching 16 passes for 181 yards over his junior and senior years, Britt was still honorable mention all state for his blocking. As a senior he had 80 knockdowns and graded out at 96%. He went on to Texas to start multiple years at offensive tackle.

One of 2 tight ends on this list to play in the NFL, Brandon Pettigrew was a monster. He was in a prehistoric system, so the numbers for Pettigrew are ugly. Lee was a running football team, still using the option with Matt Flynn in those years. Pettigrew was a monster run blocking at 6'6 230, and blossomed into a great receiver at Oklahoma State, being drafted in the 20's by the Detroit Lions in 2008.

Mario Walker finished 2004 as the best tight-end in the state. Walker was named first team All-State, East-Texas and All-District when he produced 28 catches for 528 yards and 8 touchdowns as a senior. He went on to SMU where he played DE and TE during his career.

Horace went on to UTSA where he became a big time producer there too.

At 6'7 220 pounds, Tate Casey was a 2 way ass kicking machine in the early 2000s for the Lobos. Casey was incredible at both defensive and tight end for the Lobos. Longview was heavy run in these days which makes his career 33 receptions look slight. He had 19 catches as a junior for 365 yards and 3 scores, and as a senior he caught 14 passes for 272 yards. He was a helluva blocker, essentially another tackle on the edge that handled a lot of 1v1 blocking opportunities. Casey had a successful career for the Gators, where he still does work for the University to this day.

Similar to Britt Mitchell, Jarod Wood was incredible in the run game finishing his career as a 91.5% grade and 53 knockdowns over his last two seasons.
