Spence and Co's 2025 DL Ratings

The DL is deep this year. At the top there's a couple of all timers, some very good veterans, and even some super young talent. Let's look at some highlights from this year's group.

Legacy Players:

Kaleb Walker is a 3x Member of the list, capping off his career at number 9. Walker has superb athleticism for his size. He shoots the gaps as well as anybody. He plays with his hands and dismisses OL. Walker was dominant from day 1 and heads to Houston with all potential.

Cameron Christian has been dominant since his freshman season on varsity. In 2025, he put up a peculiar stat line, catching 3 ints and blocking 3 kicks. He's best at stopping the run. He's stoned opponents for the last 4 years and now he's headed to Texas State.

Incredible Years:

Tyler Hagler has been a dominant player for 3 years in Gilmer. As a sophomore and junior, Hagler graded out as a 90 overall. This past season, Hagler graded out as a 96. He's a stump in the middle of that DL that won't move. He had his hand 3 kicks in 2025, while sacking the qb 6 times.

Bogany got to the QB 8times and had 16 tackles for loss for Lufkin in 2025. He was a dominant presence on the field and did a great job of playing in space and keeping offenses contained.

Emmanuel Harris was explosive in 2025. Harris got to the quarterback 9 times, but it was his 31 tackles for loss that was the most impressive. A special athlete, Harris made plays on offense as well, catching 8 touchdowns.

On the Rise:

Caden Bruton led East Texas in sacks in 2025 with 11.5. His size and quickness don't go together. It makes no sense to see him move as fast as he does and as powerful. Just a sophomore, Bruton will likely top the list before his time in Nac is done.

Luke Baysinger was absolutely physically dominant in his sophomore season. He looked like a senior on tape. He had 16 tackles for loss, but what stood out on film more than anything were his 5 forced fumbles. This kid hits like a ton of bricks.

Youngsters:

Andrick Kindle is a young ass kicker from Carthage, Texas. He can shoot through gaps or put his hands on offensive lineman and control the game. He was one of the toughest to handle in East Texas and came in on the list at number 90 as a sophomore.

Kedrid Smith had a dominant sophomore season at Pleasant Grove. He graded out as a 93, and he looks like the next big things out of PG. He's athletic, long and is willing to be physical. Look out for this one.

Javon Moore graded out as a 91 as a freshman. He looks like the next big thing at DE at Texas High. They've had more than a few over the past 6 years, and Moore has the physical look of a big time prospect over the next couple of years.
